If you were growing up in the Western Cape in the 90s, you knew about the Station Strangler. I didn't grow up in the Western Cape during that time so I learnt about this era by watching director Nadine Cloete's brilliantly told film about this shadowy figure.
Touching and emotional interviews with victims' family members account for a large part of what happened and really drives home how many people were so deeply affected by this murder spree and how wide the damage was that he caused.
It was a great opportunity to grade this for Idea Candy and to meet Nadine.
